Temporary Changes to Mandatory e-Filing: On January 20, 2026 the Monterey County Superior Court will be transitioning to a new case management system, eCourt.

To ensure a smooth conversion process, please observe the following important deadlines and filing requirements: Effective Sunday, January 4, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. electronic filings will no longer be accepted via the court’s electronic filing system, File & Serve.

Only paper filing will be allowed between January 5, 2026, and January 15, 2026. Effective Tuesday January 20, 2026, electronic filing will resume for all case types via Journal Technology’s Court Portal. Additional information and a web address will be posted on the court’s website in the coming weeks.
